Moving tens of millions to frontline climate solutions

WASHINGTON – Since 2021, community-based groups in frontline climate justice communities across the nation have worked with the Justice40 Accelerator to secure $43 million in public funding for community-led climate solutions. On a press call with grassroots climate justice leaders and federal officials today, the independent, not-for-profit accelerator announced that so far, more than 80% of the proposals submitted with support from the accelerator have succeeded in securing public funding.
